Class Experience
In this one time holiday themed craft making party, students will use construction paper colors of their choice to make a Valentine themed person. Students are welcome to make it on a flat piece of paper as the body, or it even could be attached to a bag or a box to hold valentines. Creativity is encouraged! This craft involves cutting out heart shapes. The teacher will instruct students on how to cut a heart from paper. This craft also involves folding paper. For the younger kids,...

*Students will practice scissor use *Students will learn to cut a heart from paper *Students will practice fine motor skills to fold paper and attach small pieces *Students will make a fun valentine craft!

1 file available upon enrollment*Students need various sheets of construction paper. I would suggest having at least 6-7 pieces of paper on hand. While red, pinks, white, etc are typical valentine colors, it can be whatever colors they like. *Googly eyes, large *a glue stick (If you choose liquid glue, the preschool teacher in me suggests that you give it to them in a little cup with a qtip or paintbrush for application vs using the bottle. Puddles of glue will make this craft more difficult.) *kid appropriate scissors *If you would rather the body be a bag or pre-covered box, you may provide that as well. Please pre-cover your box with paper of choice. Kleenex boxes work well because they already have a hole for cards.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
