Big House 🏡 Little House 🏠 ..... Nope, We are Building Tiny Houses 🏘 !! In this 6 week course, students will use valuable math skills while completing a project based math 🧮 activity !! Students will be using graph paper to create a TINY HOUSE...this activity will focus on real world application of math concepts that are used to design and build homes 🏡 ! This project integrates multiple elements such as problem solving, collaboration, design, and planning that connects concepts. Each student will follow the directions for each weeks class; after we learn how to complete and record area and perimeter skills. Additionally, students will design and decorate both the inside and outside of their tiny homes any way they wish 🏠 Students will also create 3D furnishings such as a TV, Table, Plants, Stove, Refrigerator, Bed, and so much more. This class will be taught using a slide presentation; I will also be creating a tiny home along side the students to help them better grasp the concepts taught. A few videos will also be seen to help students visualize tiny home constructions. Day 1: Drafting Our Homes Day 2: Walls Day 3: Base & Roof Day 4: Making a Tiny Home Day 5: Furniture Day 6: This day will be used to complete our tiny houses and show them off.
