Class Experience
Topic: Insect Anatomy / Adaptations In this class we will be learning about the body parts and physical adaptations of insects by interacting with eachother and building a bug together. We will discuss the 3 main body parts of an insect. Then, we will build our insect one piece at a time as we learn about antennal types, mouth types, eyes, wings, legs, and even stingers! This class is taught in English.
- Students will learn basic insect anatomy and will further their knowledge of adaptations. We will discuss how insect adaptations can help them survive in some environments but be dangerous in others.
I graduated with my BS in Entomology from Michigan State University in 2013.
Learners should be prepared with a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and coloring utensils (optional).
