Upon completing each class, learners will have created replica items, shared their creations with others, and learned about an event from World War II.
I hold a BA in History, and am pursuing an MA in International Relations. I have taught history and social studies on Outschool for over two years, reaching over 160 learners aged 10-17. Many of my classes examine European and world history, and deal with complex or difficult subjects such as: the rise of Adolph Hitler, the Holocaust, McCarthyism, and the Cold War
Learners will need to make sure they have all the necessary building pieces prior to attending class. Building instructions for each class will be made available to learners upon enrollment. It is the learner's responsibility to make sure they have all the necessary parts to participate in class. The instructor provides building instructions, not building materials.

This class looks at World War II, and some of the major battles and operations of the war. Learners will also build items such as tanks, aeroplanes, and anti-aircraft weapons. While this class looks at war, we will not be going into intense detail about the war. No graphic or bloody images will be shown, and ideas prevalent in the war- like Nazism- will not be delved into in great detail. This class is meant to give learners an engaging introduction to the subject, and chance to build and socialize with peers. I have taught history and social studies on Outschool for over two years to tween and teen learners and am confident in my ability to provide learners with a safe space to engage with historical topics. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Building instructions come from the instructor. Information about the war comes from my own knowledge and the writings of historians such as: Sean McMeekin, William Shirer, John Grehan, and Julian Thompson.
