Do you like origami? Do you like bugs? Then join us for making origami bugs! We'll be making the stag beetle and the cicada in the picture. The class is very interactive and kept small so that we can go at the learners' pace. These are fairly easy to make and fun for both beginners and experienced folders, alike. The cicada on the right was one of my favorites to make as a child, and the stag beetle on the left is lots of fun, too! I would love to share these with you, so I hope you can join us!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I love teaching origami on Outschool. I have been folding origami most of my life, and I enjoy sharing it with others!
I believe in going at the pace of the children in the class. I also understand that children come in a wide range of personalities: shy, outgoing, introverted, loud, quiet, special needs, different needs, etc. I like to adapt my interactions with each child to their social needs.
I have an autistic child at home, and I love learning about the autistic point of view. My own understanding of the world has changed because of him!
