Welcome! This is an introductory course for late elementary and middle school students to understand more about budgeting. We will cover ... the purpose of a budget, how budgets can be personalized, what components are needed to make a complete budget, why it is important to start budgeting even as a kid, and step by step instructions for how to create your own budget. Students will have a pre-recorded lecture video and automatically graded quiz for weeks 1 and 2. Week 3 will have a pre-recorded lecture video and a blank budgeting template students can fill out in their own time if they'd like!
