Basic English Grammar is a requirement for students across the globe. Students are often taught in a structured environment geared for one learning type while on a strict schedule. It is common for students to not grasp the concepts during the first time taught by an instructor or parent. For this reason, this course will help students to brush up on his or her previously learned skills and teach new skills in a way that they can remember. Students will review various parts of speech each week. Instruction will be taught to cater to learning styles to include kinestethic, auditory, visual and verbal learners. This class is ideally designed for students on a 3rd - 5th grade level. It is also a great class for A1 to A2 level ESL and ELL students. Skill levels differ by learner and all students are welcomed. With the engaging activities and creative notebooks, students will be able to grasp the concepts in a fun and exciting way. Daily Activities will include the following: 1. Each day will begin with parts of speech taught through use of a powerpoint presentation for auditory and lectured style learners. 2. The lesson will be reinforced through interactive grammar games and group activities for our verbal learners, songs and music for our kinestethic learners. 3. Afterwards, students will design their creative notebooks through guided instructions for our visual learners. 4. Students will have daily worksheets to practice at-home for reinforcement. Students will bring pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, glue, ruler, construction paper and a composition notebook to class. Students will have a creative notebook for keepsake that will allow them to have something physical to review the parts of speech as needed. This is a fast paced course and will cover an overview of the Parts of Speech below: -Nouns -Pronouns -Verbs -Adjectives -Adverbs
