Come each week and enjoy PB&J Club! We'll talk about our week, daily plans and activities, share ideas for things to do and enjoy the company of friends, all while eating breakfast/lunch together and starting our day on a cheery, positive note...with friends!

In this flexible class, we will meet weekly to have brunch, share our experiences from the week and take part in conversation with peers. This class will be led by the teacher who will offer topics and conversation starters for the students. Each week will provide a different "theme" that will allow everyone to take part and interact with one another more easily. Everyone should try to attend with breakfast/lunch (or a snack). Each week will end with a themed brainstorming session for fun activities that everyone can do at home. We will share our ideas, experiences and thoughts to get everyone excited about their weekend/week ahead. Students will be encouraged to offer meaningful and age appropriate conversation in order to get to know others in the group, over breakfast. What a wonderful way to learn life skills while having fun too. I can't wait to meet for PB&J Club!

Hello & welcome to Outschool! My name is Suzi and I'm excited to share a bit about myself.
I am a former elementary school teacher turned homeschooling mom. I have a background in Literacy education and find joy in teaching new things and helping students discover their interests through content and instruction. I think it's important to engage students through storytelling, example and hands on experiences.
As a teacher, I've taught everything from pre-school through high school grades and across all content areas. My favorite subjects to teach are history and math and I have a serious love of language and how to use it, whether it be through writing, speaking or problem solving.
My family and I live in Wisconsin. We have 3 children and 3 dogs and are originally from the East Coast...but are starting to realize we're destined to be midwesterners! My oldest is in her first year at The United States Military Academy at West Point, my middle is a junior in high school and my youngest is a freshman. I hope to see you in class soon!
