Class Experience

Broadway Vocal Lab provides young vocalists a foundation in vocal techniques for vocal support, breathing for singers, vocal pitch, and timing. We will focus on positive habits for maintaining good vocal health and the tools every young singer should have for warm-ups and building vocal strength. Every vocalist in class will sing group warm-ups and have the opportunity to practice their technique through a variety of Broadway show tunes. The song selections will come from contemporary musicals to songs from the golden age. Each student will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Ms. Jen during class, plus every week students will post a vocal performance for individualized feedback. Ms. Jen will leave comments on what students are having success with, and areas in which they can improve with continued practice.
