In this ongoing class, students will learn choreography to a chorus of a new Broadway or Disney song each week.
Class experience
Calling all future Broadway dancers! Get ready to learn a new dance every week. Students will learn new dance moves, vocabulary, and choreography. Each class begins with a warm-up, then we will get familiar with the beat by playing freeze dance. Finally, we will learn each section of the dance. Students will learn the chorus part of the song. At the end of the class, you can perform your dance like you are on a Broadway stage! This class is very active, so be sure to have a water bottle...
As with any form of physical activity, there is potential for injury. Please be sure to have enough space for your student to move. Make sure it is free from any potential hazards. Students should wear clothing that they can move in and either wear dance shoes or closed-toed shoes.
