Description
Class Experience
I have chosen a variety of different musicals that we will dive into to gain insight on the history, characters, music, and even the technical details. Students will have an opportunity at the end of each class to perform in a sing-a-long and monologue reading. We will begin each class by having an open discussion about the specific musical. We will then have technical ten which is ten minutes talking about either costumes, stage design, or lighting. Then, we will talk about our favorite...
Students will gain valuable knowledge about different musicals. They will get a chance to be able to discuss their opinions and favorites from the show. Students will be a part of a respectful, fun community of people who share their interests. They could be a huge fan of the show or have never heard of it and will have fun either way!
I have a degree in theatre and have been singing and acting since I was a kid.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some shows cover mature themes. I have the schedule of shows. If there are any you do not want your student to participate in, please let me know.
