Each week, students will learn a new dance combination to a Broadway show tune. This class is intended for intermediate dancers (usually between 4 and 8 years' experience), however, more advanced dancers are more than welcomed to attend. Each class will begin with 15-20 minutes to warm up and strength conditioning, and the rest of class will be used to teach that day's combination. Dance combinations will be a mix of story telling, performance strengthening, and technical ability. This class...
In this class, students will work on... -Strength and conditioning -Dance technique -Storytelling -Assimilation skills -Having fun in a high-energy and welcoming environment!
Kaley has traveled the world performing professionally in productions such as the North American tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Wizard of Oz and as a mainstage performer on Disney Cruise Line.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Jazz shoes encouraged, but not at all required. Students may want to have a water bottle nearby, as classes are high-intensity. Students will need at least a 6x6 foot square of empty space in which to dance, but more space would be helpful!
