Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the basic elements of poetry.  This will include stanzas, rhyme, rhythm, figurative language, repetition, and imagery.  
No homework will be assigned.  Students are welcome to create other poems on their own if desired.
Students will need paper and pencil.
Learner progress will be assessed in class through observation, discussion, and feedback.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
