Bring poetry to life! There is a poet inside everyone. Students will learn basic elements of poetry such as how it is written, rhythm, rhyme, figurative language, inspiration, and making it meaningful. The class will read a model of a short poem to analyze together and discuss what they notice about it. Then students will brainstorm topics related to fall and winter.
