Class Experience

In this one time class, we will explore facts about different types of bats, including where in the world they live, their habitats, their diet, and the fascinating way they find their way in the dark. Students will interact together through class discussion, and we will watch video clips and a slideshow of a variety of bats. Students will be encouraged to share their ideas and knowledge with the class. We will play a True or False guessing game at the end to test their knowledge of the facts...

Students will share what they know with other students, learn 3-4 new facts about bats, and identify their habitat.

If you like to draw, please bring paper and something to draw with and together we will draw a bat (if we have time!).

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
