Welcome to a fun, engaging, and nurturing Pre-K & Kindergarten Full Curriculum Class! Designed to inspire curiosity and build essential skills, this class meets 4 days a week for 30 minutes and is perfect for learners ages 3โ€“7. With 11 years of teaching experience, I specialize in creating a warm and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This class is ESL-friendly, supporting diverse learners, including those with Autism and ADHD. ๐Ÿ’•

๐ŸŒˆ What We Will Do Each Week:
Each class begins with an energetic Circle Time, where we:

Sing songs ๐ŸŽต
Review the calendar ๐Ÿ“…
Practice days of the week, weather, and greetings โ˜€๏ธโ„๏ธ

On Language Arts Days, we focus on:

Letter recognition, sounds, and the letter of the week.
Guided writing, story comprehension, and sentence-building activities.
Sight word and vocabulary practice through interactive games and stories.
Fun activities to develop phonics skills, such as identifying rhymes and counting syllables.

On Math Days, we focus on:

Number recognition, counting, and the number of the week.
Exploring shapes, patterns, and spatial reasoning.
Sorting and basic problem-solving activities.
Hands-on games to reinforce concepts and keep learning engaging!

Integrated Science & Social Studies:
Each weekโ€™s theme incorporates elements of science and social studies to spark curiosity and connect learning to the real world. 

For example:

During Garden Explorers, weโ€™ll discuss how plants grow.
In Community Helpers, weโ€™ll learn about important roles in our neighborhoods.

To encourage creativity and independent learning, students will receive a Weekly Learning Packet through the classroom announcements. 

These packets will include:

Letter of the week practice pages
Sight word activities
Mini-project assignments
Additional fun tasks to explore concepts at home!
Some mini-projects may require simple household supplies like cotton balls, leaves, or magazine clippings. These items will always be communicated a week in advance, and students will have the opportunity to share their completed mini-projects during Show and Tell! ๐ŸŒŸ(optional to share and or create the mini projects).
