In this 9-week course, Mrs. Morin will provide the student with a class code to join IXL. This online program offers a dynamic elementary school curriculum designed to foster learning through engaging activities and games.

This 9-week self paced course will guide you and your student on the best way to use IXL. Hiring a teacher along with using this curriculum will ensure that you are effectively maximizing your time with the program. Students should expect to spend 1-2 hours a day on the IXL platform. Please note that very young learners will need parent support to use the program. Beginning each week, Mrs. Morin will provide an individualized learning plan for each student at the beginning of the week, and give feedback & a progress report and a reward at the end of the week. Rewards are earned by the student using the program. Students will not earn a reward if they do not do the work. Topics taught are grade specific but generally, will include: mastering math facts, enhancing reading skills, scientific inquiry, geography and social studies skills, promoting a love for learning. If students have any questions, they should leave a comment on the outschool platform on the week they are working on, and Mrs. Morin will respond within 24 hours.
