Brief Introduction to Russian Language and Culture
Class Experience
This class will have a lecture, conversation, and a discussion format. Some coversational phrases in Russian will be taught and practiced by students with teacher and with each other. Some Russian cultural peculiarities will be disscussed and compared to American culture. Learners don't need any prior knowledge to join this class.
- Students will learn basic greetings/introduction vocabulary in Russian, numbers 1 throug 5, discuss some differences in Russian and American cultures.
Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Since it is a one time class, the only homework is to review your class notes in order to retain what you have learned.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: Informal assessment will be used to assess the learner's progress.
Please bring parer and pen or pencil to class to write some vocabulary words/notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
