In this online class, students will learn a few words/phrases in Russian, scan through Russian alphabet, learn how to count to five, and will learn about some peculiarities of Russian culture and compare them to American culture.

Description

Class Experience

This class will have a lecture, conversation, and  a discussion format. 
Some coversational phrases in Russian will be taught  and practiced by students with teacher and with each other.
Some Russian cultural peculiarities will be disscussed and compared to American culture.
Learners don't need any prior knowledge to join this class.

Students will learn basic greetings/introduction vocabulary in Russian, numbers 1 throug 5, discuss some differences in Russian and American cultures.

Since it is a one time class, the only homework is to review your class notes in order to retain what you have learned.

Please bring parer and pen or pencil to class to write some vocabulary words/notes.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal assessment will be used to assess the learner's progress.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
