Description

Class Experience

Book clubs are meant to be fun, but sometimes they can just drag a good book out too long. In Brief Book Bunch, we finish a wonderfully fun book in just 2 short weeks. We will meet 3 times a week for 2 weeks (that's 6 times total) for 45-minutes each lesson. 

In this course, we will read "The Magic Misfits: The Minor Third" by Neil Patrick Harris. Each student is expected to provide their own copy of the book. We will not be reading it live during the 45-minute meetings, but on our own...

This class is taught in English.

There will be assigned reading for the student to do between lessons. This is a fast-moving book, so the assignments should not be tedious.

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.

"The Magic Misfits: The Minor Third" by Neil Patrick Harris discusses the word magic and speaks of illusions and theft. It also features how a group of misfits can come together and use their gifts for good. It is recommended reading for ages 8-12. The student will need to have their own copy of the book. When discussing differences, absolutely no hate or negativity will be tolerated. We are here to have fun, learn, and discuss in an inclusive and safe learning environment. A student will receive one warning and then will be dismissed from the course without a refund if the offense continues.
