US Grade 3
This class is designed to give your child fun hands-on practice with 4th grade math skills as well as a review of 3rd grade skills. Your child will practice Math concepts, increase his/her number sense, manipulate objects and pay games. The class is broken into 19 weeks of lessons. If you don't want to attend all of them, no problem. Each class is an independent lesson, not relying on previous lessons. Week 1: Place Value- Strengthen your child's number sense Week 2: Comparing and Decomposing Numbers- Working with numbers in real-life situations will strengthen your child's number sense and confidence. Week 3: Addition and Subtraction- Confidence in these skills will make working larger multiplication and division problems a breeze. Week 4: Subtracting Across Zeros Week 5: Multiplication and Division- Prepare to have a great time as we explore hands-on how multiplication, division and area are related. Week 6:Multiplying Larger Numbers Week 7: More multiplying Larger Numbers Week 8: More practice multiplying larger numbers Week 9: Long Division Week10: More Long Division Week 11: Fractions- Fractions are great fun when food is involved! Week 12: Decimals and Fractions- Your child will see how decimals and fractions are related in fun and hands-on activities. Week 13: More decimal practice Week 14: More fractions- Equivalent fractions and common denominators Week 15: Adding and subtracting Fractions Week 16: More adding and subtracting fractions Week 17: Problem Solving-Choose Your Operation Week 18: Area and Perimeter Week 19: Geometry Vocabulary Week 20: Polygons Week 21: 3D Geometric Solids Week 22: Financial Literacy Week 23: More Financial Literacy Give your child the boost needed throughout 4th grade.
Learning Goals
Each lesson is designed to build increased knowledge and confidence over the math concepts taught that week. Informal assessments throughout will help me to see how well your child is grasping the concepts.

Parental Guidance
Some math manipulatives will need to be printed and pre-cut before some of the lessons.
Supply List
Paper, pencil, counters (can be as basic as pinto beans), Cheez-It crackers for the multiplication and division lesson on Week 6. Additional printable papers/supplies will be sent to parents before the lesson in which they are needed.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
