Brick Building Club -Challenge, Build and Share for Younger Learners
Class experience
Students will need at least a gallon size bag of building bricks (having more is better). I will present a challenge for them to build, and they will spend about 25 minutes building their creation while being able to converse with one another and see ideas that I show. I always try to show ideas that challenges them to use their bricks in a new way. From taking car or house windows to use in a robot or using very common bricks to make animals. Students will get to connect socially with other children while showing off their creations. I will also talk about different building techniques and get input from the student about how they like to build.
A gallon size bag of building bricks. More is always better.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
