Building bricks, such as Lego and Megablocks, have been some of the most popular toys not only because they're FUN but because they can be used to support so many educational topics.

In this class, students will learn about an animal and its environment while creating the animal and habitat using building bricks.  In this class, I will teach about an animal each week via Google Slides, describing the animal's physical appearance, adaptations, diet, habitat, and other fun facts. While learning about the animal, students and I will be creating the animal out of building bricks. We may also create the animal's environment on a building brick sheet.  I will show the students my own animal as I create it. Students are free to be as realistic or creative with their creation as they wish. At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to share their creations with the class.
