Do you have a child that loves to build with bricks, like well known plastic interlocking bricks? Learners begin an island creation which then must be altered, enhanced, or changed based on a unique situation and share out their build!

Description
Class Experience
Students will use oral skills to communicate with others. Students will use critical thinking and problem solving to create a build to address a specific need. Students will practice using listening skills to engage with other learners. Additionally, they will utilize questioning to ask and learn from others!
As an experienced teacher and librarian, I love to challenge students to use their creativity and thinking skills! This class is designed to engage your child in brick building and problem solving all while having fun! I love to cultivate the love of learning in students and through my enthusiastic and energetic teaching style, I help to facilitate that learning! My teaching background as well as my professional credentials allow me to effectively plan, design, teach, and reflect on lessons so that I can offer high quality and engaging learning experiences for all.
