Class is taught in Spanish. Child will learn techniques for breathing with awareness to cultivate feeling light like a dandelion, relaxed like a sloth and balanced like a condor, among other fun techniques like bunny and humming bee breath.

Important Notes: All of my classes are inclusive. Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child. CEFR: All levels This class is taught in Spanish. The equivalent class is English are also offered as Breathe like a Dandelion... Children will learn three techniques from the yogic tradition of pranayamas. We will cover to breathe in a mindful way, so they can create different experiences as needed, from being grounded like a mountain, relaxed like a sloth, to balanced like a condor! ...
This class is taught in Spanish.
At the end of the class, your child will have cultivated a deeper sense of self-understanding and inner awareness. He/she will know 3 distinct types of breathing techniques to engage in when they recognize the need to ground, relax and /or balance themselves. This class may lay the foundation for a life long Yoga practice to help your child navigate life (recitals, competitions, family/playground/school relations, etc.)
N/A. Learner is encouraged to continue practicing the practices so they become second nature.
It will be important for the child to be in a quiet space, free from electronic distractions, and have a mat, cushion or chair to sit and practice comfortably.
Informal assessment in the form of a final review to ensure the children have learned these 3 fundamental techniques, and will be able to continue practicing them.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
