In this class, we will briefly cover what kind of animals pterosaurs are, when they lived, and aspects of their biology. I will cover important terms of the skeleton. I will then summarize a new scientific paper about pterosaur launch behavior. Students will learn what kind of animals pterosaurs are, when they lived, and aspects of their biology. Students will learn parts of the skeleton that are important for understanding the new work. Students will also be introduced to current methods of motion analysis in extinct animals.
