Students will propose one news story to be discussed each week. The teacher will also have one or more stories that are in the news for the week. The class focus is exposure to current events and critical thinking skills. There may be times when students disagree. There may be times I present alternative views that I may or may not personally believe in order for students to think about both sides. Students must be respectful of one another and learn to defend ideas without attacking...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
