Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and sharing it with friends is an excellent way to start your day off right. In this weekly club, we’ll gather for a morning discussion over breakfast! I’ll have a healthy meal with me, and students are welcome to bring their own breakfast or a snack to munch on as we chat. Our discussions will vary from week to week. At the start of each class, I’ll ask if anyone has anything they’d like to share or a topic they want to talk about. Potential topics may include high and low points of the week, favorite things, “would you rather?” type questions, and more. Having an open discussion is an excellent way for students to learn the importance of communication and giving others a chance to speak. This is a safe space where all students are encouraged to be themselves and it’s a great opportunity to make new friends! My goal is to help students start their day out on a positive note, and have a weekly routine they can look forward to.
Learning Goals
To improve communication skills and socialize with other students while enjoying a healthy breakfast or snack!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Ms. Lindsay. I teach classes on a variety of topics, including video games, anime, baking, crafts, and more! These are my personal interests and hobbies that I spend a ton of time learning about myself, and I'm excited that I have the opportunity to share my love of these topics with others.
In 2017, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and my focuses were art and business. I have experience working with young children through leading storytime/arts & crafts at my local library, as well as tutoring students in English and Reading. I have also worked with foreign students who speak different languages to strengthen their pronunciation and conversational skills.
When it comes to my teaching style, I believe it’s important to have fun in class, and focus on students' interests to keep them engaged in their education. I also work hard to foster a positive and uplifting classroom environment, to boost confidence and encourage students to be proud of who they are! Ultimately, students should look forward to having class, instead of feeling like it's boring or something that they're required to do.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of those awesome learners out there. See you in class!
