I'm a trained Early Childhood Educator with Montessori- and Emilia-Reggio classroom experience. I am currently teaching K-1 students in an in-person public charter classroom. I have been teaching online and in person for over 20 years, and homeschooling my own amazing kids since 2012.

As an American Studies major at UC Berkeley, I researched Classical Education theory and practice in the US and I minored in Classical Studies, the history and cultures of Ancient Greece- and Rome. As a former working class kid, I believe that every child should have access to a high-quality liberal arts education. I offer learning opportunities that exceed state standards and spark a deep love of learning. I love my work helping families access a top quality education out of the private schools and into the home.
Homework Offered
I provide a weekly packet for students to work through. With K-1 this is of course completely optional work, but it is there for those who want rigor and practice. Printable worksheets make great work samples for homeschool charter families who need to provide these.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I am happy to provide feedback any time at parent/caregiver request.
Grades Offered
Feel free to bring breakfast (or the appropriate meal in your time zone), plus paper and crayons or colored pencils.

I will post printable packet weekly. Bring this or blank paper to class.

Sometimes students will need additional supplies, like glue sticks, scissors, etc. I will let you know in advance.
Curriculum packets will be posted in the classroom on a weekly basis.

Print them for use in class and between classes.

If you do not have a printer, plain paper or even a white board will work!
