Break Dance: Dynamics + Fitness Camp (Level 6)

Students will learn exercises and methods to train for new freezes and dynamic spinning moves. Students will challenge themselves with new games and certified tough moves. NOTE: Style Camp is a prerequisite for this camp.

Homework
1-2 hours per week. All "homework" is referred to as "training" to reinforce the goal of building skills rather than the negative connotation that the word "work" has. Daily training is to upgrade their arsenals and practice new moves with the song of the day.

Class Experience

Every day we´ll learn new exercises to strengthen ourselves and upgrade our skills to learn new moves. There will be a certified tough move for the first eight days of camp. We´ll begin every class with an exercise and fitness tips. Day 9 will be dedicated to helping with the certified tough moves. Day 10 will be a contest day with games and contests to earn additional titles to the certificate of completion. Students are encouraged to upgrade their sets with the new dynamic moves and freeze stacks from camp. 

CAMP BONUSES:

Parental Guidance
My "Outschool Breakdance" Spotify playlist is an external resource available for all students. You'll need to create a basic account to access it for free (on shuffle mode) or a paid account to select specific songs from the list. Music is a mix of hip-hop and funk, but has been screened for appropriate lyrics. Wrist warm-ups/exercises will be required for learning/practicing the bottomrock moves. It is also advisable that students should wear comfortable shoes (sneakers) and clothes for dancing (not oversized). As well, students should have a clear open space for dancing and a distance from the computer that allows me to see them from head to toe in order to ensure they're doing the moves properly. A water bottle is also required for brief breaks.
