Brazilian Samba Dance (9-14)
Class experience
Learners will learn and train in basic Samba, Samba no pé movements, and choreography. They will learn the history, popular trending Rio Carnival movements and about Brazil. In the beginning of the class we will warm up for about 10 minutes. Followed by a "Step of the Day" and drilling hard to-do steps. Third, learn a monthly choreography. Each month learners will learn a theme choreography of the month relating to current trends, seasons and/ or holidays. Historical notes about the dances...
The goal is to learn how to Samba, which can be an intricate and complicated dance. Also to learn and perform the Choreography of the month.
