Description
Class Experience
The students learning will be through engaging with other students and their ADHD superpowers. Let's have fun!
I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in addictions counseling. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Nutrition. I have taught brain functions, processes, and anatomy for two years. I have been teaching Brain Things on Outschool since July 2020.
Absolutely NO homework! Let's just hang-out!
If you would like to share artwork, musical talents, hobbies, or anything that is your ADHD superpower, please feel free to bring it to class to show off and discuss with other ADHD superheroes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessment, however, if you would like to receive feedback, I can provide that information.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
While there are many different modes of treating ADHD, I do not discuss medical treatment options. Occasionally, students will ask about medicated treatment options for ADHD, of which I do my best to redirect the discussion to focus on ADHD rather than medical treatment.
