Description

Class Experience

The student will learn about techniques to handle day-to-day ADHD challenges to add to their toolbox of techniques. The students will become familiar with techniques such as setting daily routines, decreasing distractions, clear communication, taking breaks, and dividing large tasks into smaller tasks.
I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in addictions counseling. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Nutrition. I have taught brain functions, processes, and anatomy for two years.
It is HIGHLY recommended the students take a class prior to this called "Brain Things!: ADHD in the Human Brain" before enrolling in this class. This class will provide a solid foundation and understanding of ADHD before learning techniques for day-to-day ADHD.
