Class Experience
This class will meet once a week for 8 weeks. Students will find the following materials helpful during class: • Paper • Colored pens, pencils, or crayons in colors red/pink, blue, green, purple, yellow, and orange • Printouts of vocabulary words and brain outlines that will be uploaded to the classroom. I am fascinated by the flexibility, power, and function of the brain. I enjoy using my brain while studying science, reading, writing, solving brain teasers, and creating art. I have a degree in psychology with a concentration in biology and English. I teach biology classes and still read about biology just for fun. I cannot wait to share my love for and knowledge of biology with my students.
Homework will not be assigned for this class. If a learner misses a lesson, they can watch the video to learn about the brain part covered in that class.
The following materials will be needed during class: • Paper and pen/pencil • Colored pens, pencils, or crayons • Weekly supplemental materials that I will upload to the classroom
Learners will complete activities and quizzes to assess their understanding of the material.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
