I love to cook, swim, travel and conduct experiments! Iβm originally from an island in the Caribbean called Trinidad. However, I grew up on Long Island, New York and I now reside in South Florida.
π I have a Master's degree in Literacy from Long Island University, a Bachelorβs degree in General and Special Education from St. Josephβs College as well as certifications in both TESOL and TEFL. I have been teaching for over 12 years in public and private schools. I've also been recognized as an EPIC Educator by Outschool providing instruction and creating class experiences that are Empowering, Passion-driven, Intentional, and Connected. Now that's EPIC!
π©βπ« Currently, Iβve been teaching online for over six years and I have experience teaching well over 15,000 online classes to students and I absolutely love the atmosphere of an online classroom! I have also spent three years in the tropical Caribbean teaching English to children from all parts of the world. I have taught ages three to 18 years old in subject areas such as ESL, reading, conversing skills, phonics, writing, cooking, grammar, math, science, social studies, fingerplay/songs, role playing and much more!
