In Braille 3 - More Braille Practice, we will continue expanding our decoding, reading, writing, and math skills using Braille. Students must have taken my first Braille Class, An Introduction to Braille, my second Braille Class, Braille 2 - or - have a solid understanding of Braille basics. Understanding what cells are and how to coordinate the Braille alphabet and numbers using cells is a must for Braille 3. This is for students to gain more practice. We will develop organizing phrases,...
I will supply PDFs to print the day before Class to ensure we are all using the same information. Additionally, students will need play-doh (or large pom-poms) and at minimum 6 cells cut down from egg cartons to just 6 spaces (situated as 2 columns across, 3 spaces down). A day before Class, I will provide an example as well as Braille PDFs to print out for Class. This will be posted directly in the Classroom itself a day before Class so you have time to print it out.
