Students will discuss their favorite form of dance and learn some classical ballet and jazz from a male instructor with over 15 years of professional dancing experience, and 8 years of professional teaching experience. We'll talk about what it means to be a boy dancer, watch videos of some famous male dancers, and learn new steps and phrases that a male dancer of any skill level can feel good executing. No prior knowledge or experience is needed, just a desire to learn about being a male dancer!
Students will learn about famous male dancers and the history of men in dance, along with some combinations and steps geared towards learners of any skill level.
Instructor has over 15 years of professional dancing experience and 8 years of professional teaching experience.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
