Superheroes, ninjas, dragons, and monsters! This class is geared towards crafts boys will love! We will make one craft each day. Learners will be guided step-by-step on how to create each craft. These projects are age-appropriate, but learners may need assistance with some steps. It is encouraged that an adult is nearby during class. Day 1 - Superhero Puppet Day 2 – Fire Breathing Dragon Day 3 – Monster Bookmarks Day 4 – Pipe Cleaner Ninjas There are specific materials your learner will need for this camp. Supply List
Please have supplies ready at the start of each class. Day 1 - Superhero Puppet • Variety pack of colored construction paper • Washable paint • Paintbrush • Lunch sack paper bag • Googly eyes (large) • Markers • Child-safe scissors (parental supervision is required) • Liquid white glue • Glue stick Day 2 – Fire Breathing Dragon • Child-safe scissors (parental supervision is required) • Tacky glue or hot glue gun (parent is required to use hot glue) *Please have one of these for the project. This project is difficult to complete with only liquid white glue.* • Liquid white glue • 1 paper roll (toilet paper roll or paper towel roll cut in half) • Construction paper (paper & pom poms should be the same color if possible ie. all red, all green) • 2 pom poms (approx. 1 inch) • 2 pom poms (approx. 3/8 inch) • 2 small googly eyes • Tissue paper (red, yellow, orange) Day 3 – Monster Bookmarks • Construction paper or colored printer paper • Glue stick • Markers • Scissors • Pencil • Ruler Day 4 – Pipe Cleaner Ninjas • Pipe cleaners • Colored drinking straws (same color as your pipe cleaners if possible) • Plastic pony beads (same color as your pipe cleaners & straws if possible) • Child-safe scissors (parental supervision is required) • Tacky glue or liquid white glue • Fine tip black sharpie • Colored sharpie (any size tip – same color as pipe cleaners, straws, beads if possible) • Wooden bead for the head - best if it is 3/4 to 1 inch (20-28mm) Here is a great option: https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Basic-Crafts/Macrame/Round-Wood-Beads---20mm/p/23994

About Me: I have been working with kids for over 10 years now! I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and K-12 special education. I have taught special education in school for 3 years and now have been teaching online for 5 years. I take great joy in helping students become responsible and independent!
I currently live in South Dakota, USA with my husband, 5 year-old, 3 year-old, and a baby! We enjoy going for walks to the park together, making homemade pizza, boating on the lake, and spending time with family!
