Class Experience

Students will learn about the life cycle of a plant and why pollination is a very important part of the process. They will learn about how pollination works and we will discuss the major types of pollinators (as well as some not-so-well-known ones) and why it is important to protect them and their environments in order to help the Earth stay healthy and strong.
Please have paper and pencils, crayons, or markers ready for your diagram! If you can bring in a plant from outside or have a picture of a plant with you, that would be great also. It can be a flower, a leaf, a branch, a weed from the garden, or a photo from a magazine or book.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
