We're currently experiencing high demand both in person and online, though we'd be thrilled to assist you in scheduling your child's baking class. Thank you for considering our classes. We understand that Outschool offers a plethora of baking courses, and we're honored that you've chosen our professional baking instructors to enrich your child's learning experience. To make things even more accessible for you, we offer discounts for siblings, families, and best friends who enroll in the same class. Just ask us for details. 🍬 Parents, Take Note 🍬 While a bit of prior kitchen experience is beneficial for our youngest bakers, it's important to remember that sharp tools, hot stoves, and ovens may require some level of supervision and assistance. The suggested age range is just a guideline and can be flexible; if learners can follow directions and come prepared, we welcome students of all ages. We kindly request that younger learners have an adult sous chef nearby to assist as needed. Our classes typically run for 55 minutes, although in some cases, we may finish a bit earlier if the class is particularly efficient or small. 🍬 What's Cooking in Class? 🍬 In our class, we'll be making a delightful No-Bake Cheesecake. Please be aware that our recipe contains wheat, nuts, eggs, and dairy, while we can also offer you vegan-friendly, and nut-free alternatives, just ask. Feel free to reach out before the class to discuss any dietary concerns. Our current flavor options include Pumpkin Spice or NY-Style Vanilla. 🍬 Interaction is Key 🍬 Throughout the class week, our chefs are available to answer questions, provide clarifications, offer advice, and give feedback. This is a live class with a single 55-minute session. Children will actively participate alongside our chefs in creating the dessert, a process that takes the full duration of the class. Afterward, the dessert needs to be refrigerated for at least 8 hours (overnight is recommended). Your child can access course materials for 30 days beyond the live class, and if you have any additional questions, we're always here to assist. Thank you for considering our online course! 🍬 Policies 🍬 With BornBaker.com's over 16 years of experience as chefs and pastry instructors (including 5 years on Outschool for young learners), we have a few policies to ensure a smooth learning experience: Refunds: We do not provide refunds for missed classes unless there's a genuine emergency (handled on a case-by-case basis). Class Recordings: Please note that class recordings are no longer available in the classroom due to changes in Outschool's recording and archiving policies. However, we provide a clear video of the process for your child's reference within the classroom. Additional Instruction: Our chefs are happy to provide extra guidance if needed, and we may offer a no-cost transfer to a different class when available.
