🧑🍳 ᴄʟᴀꜱꜱ ᴇxᴘᴇʀɪᴇɴᴄᴇ Because this is a FLEX course, there are no live meetings. All lessons are pre-recorded, by our chefs, in their own kitchens making it more accessible for all our learners. Our young bakers are encouraged to ask questions, share with their instructors and each other on our classroom posts. Inventory/Equipment Lists will be provided weekly in the classroom. Here is week one's inventory and equipment list to give you an idea of what to expect each week. ʟᴇᴍᴏɴ ɢɪɴɢᴇʀ ᴘᴏᴜɴᴅ ᴄᴀᴋᴇ: Approximate inventory: 2 cups granulated sugar a knob of fresh ginger 1 cup butter 1 whole lemon 4-5 large eggs 1 1/4 cups plain/all-purpose flour negligible amounts of baking powder, ground ginger, salt 3/4 cup whole milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/paste +++ Equipment: 2 8.5 x 4.5 loaf pans Food processor a stand mixer (electric hand mixer works well) spatulas bowls sifter or fine-mesh sieve

You know your child best. We will be working in the kitchen so knowledge of equipment, stove, and oven use will be invaluable to your learner. We will be including knife skill instruction, in the videos, as sometimes dicing, chopping, or slicing may be required.
