Booyah!! I Totally Get it! | Algebra 2 Full Course - For Students Who REALLY Want to Master it! | (Ongoing Twice a Week)

This twice-a-week ongoing class gets learners confident at factoring and solving quadratic equations and factoring polynomials. This twice weekly 25-minute-per-class ongoing course will strengthen your learner's understanding of Advanced Algebra (Algebra 2) to such a degree that when he/she sees an Algebra II problem, there is no hesitation! Booyah! Your learner gets it! Notes: 1- The Thursdays morning section of this class has the 25 minute sessions back to back - we combine these into 1 50-minute session each week. 2- for students just jumping in - you can do this! Every few weeks I toss in a bonus study session to help answer any questions from newer students!

Description

Class Experience

For the student to increase proficiency, understanding, and speed on all the different ways to solve quadratic equations
I've been certified in the public schools for teaching math in middle and high schools. I received additional certified training for gifted and talented learners. I taught math for sixteen years and I've been a personal SAT tutor for seven years. My students have typically raised their scores between 100 and 300 points. As a chemical engineer and project management professional in the world of business consulting and information technology consulting, I've completed over five levels of college calculus and applied mathematics and used these math and computing skills throughout my career.
Upon completion of one cycle of the material in this ongoing practice club, your learner will be able to say they can do the following. They can also repeat the cycle that the club goes through as often as they need to in order to make sure the material is well-understood:

Addition and Subtraction of Polynomials
Multiplication of Polynomials
Division of Polynomials
Composition of Functions
Inverse of Functions

pencil, paper, calculator and a can-do attitude. A scientific graphic calculator such as a T!-84 is needed as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner's progress is assessed by how well the learner participates in the interactions during class.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students should have completed Algebra I.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
