There will be more updated!!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
How will you teach?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
On zoom through Outschool platform.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
What's your teaching style?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Easy-going, but perhaps because of the subject I teach, most students are really respectful, which I truly appreciate.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Learning a foreign language is all about interaction!! There will be interactive class activities for informal assessments. Pair activities/assignments are designed to develop each student's 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. If you are a home school student who is looking for a formal assignment grades, I will be happy to work with you (but I need to know what is expected).

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Any required experience or knowledge learners need?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
This is a beginner's class, but students will learn hiragana outside of class on their own with recommended materials.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
I have Quizlet and Gimkit vocabulary games students can use outside of class to study vocabulary from the class. For Quizlet, students will need to have their own account to have access to my private folder of vocabulary. We use Gimkit to play vocabulary games or help students with learning hiragana from time to time. Students will go to https://www.gimkit.com/join and type in a class code to join the game together with everyone in the class. No apps or anything else is required.
Supply List
If you use an iPad, please learn how to use split screen function, as students will work in writing or answering questions on interactive exercises while I hold the class with zoom.
