Reading and finishing a book you love is a great feeling! That feeling is even better when you can share it with friends! Each week your Child will bring a new book that they have been reading or have already read based on a weekly theme that will be shared. This class gives them the opportunity to share their passion of reading, encourages conversation, allows for new recommendations, discover new Authors, and spread the love of reading. This Bookworm Book Club can be joined at any time as each class discussion stands alone. Week Commencing February 1st 2022 Theme - Your Favourite Book Week Commencing February 7th 2022 Theme - A book that made you Laugh Week Commencing February 14th Theme - A book about Magic Week Commencing February 21st Theme - A book about Family. Week Commencing February 28th Theme - A book about an Animal. Week Commencing March 7th Theme - A book you have read more than once.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their descriptive language skills as they talk about some of their favourite books. This Club also allows them the opportunity to make a network of friends at a similar age with similar interests.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Please make sure your child brings a book that is Suitable for the class age range 8 - 11 years. If your child brings a book that is unsuitable they will be given the opportunity to change books, Unfortunately if they do not change to a book suitable for the age range they will be removed from the class. This is for the protection of other learners.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
