Join us for Book Talk! This is a social club where learners can discuss the books they are reading, share their thoughts on completed reads, and explore what’s next on their TBR (To Be Read) lists. There will be lots of opportunities to share what books you love (or maybe don't love!) and what you can't wait to read during class! This is a casual social club, so students will be encouraged to share their passion for reading and books, but there will be no set curriculum. I will act as a facilitator of the conversation and, as a book lover myself, I will share what books I'm currently reading and my own book reviews! Each week, we will meet to share progress on our current reads or reviews of finished books, to show reading journals (if you use them!), and share suggestions for future reads with classmates. I will be providing an opportunity for an interactive way to keep track of reads and reading suggestions through Google Slides.
Learning Goals
Students will interact with peers regarding the books they are reading and will share suggestions for future reads
