I have always loved to read and this is one of my favorites from my early teen years. I love sharing books and helping others learn to love these books as well.
Each week the learners will be asked to read between 6-10 chapters of the required book. I would also like them to be prepared to share something from their reading every week. They could share a favorite quote, scene, a reaction to a character, a connection to their life or anything that they think is important.
Students will need a copy of Emily of New Moon by Lucy Maud Mongomery.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
