Let's get together to talk about the books we love. Each week, we'll meet to share what we've been reading, what types of books we like, and what we're thinking of reading next! This is an ongoing social class, so there will be teacher-led discussion about lots of different aspects of books and reading. If you have characters you want to talk about, come join us!

Week of January 18th - Let's talk about books with animals
Week of January 25th - Let's talk about...

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

In our class, we'll be discussing the books that learners are reading. The stories that students wish to discuss will vary each week. Please make sure to let your student know if there is a book you don't feel they should read or be willing to discuss. Even some popular books - such as Harry Potter or Chronicles of Narnia - may have some violence and magic in them.
