Students will improve their understanding of vocabulary in context, figurative language, historical realistic fiction, the actions of protagonists antagonists, conflicts and turning points concluding with critical climaxes and resolutions, theme development, character analysis based on ever-growing and deeply embedded themes that directly come out of the decisions family members had to make.
