Description
Class Experience
I am a published author in both Middle-grade (10-14 years) and Young Adult (14-18 years) and have worked with students in grades 3-6 to hone their writing skills. I am also an avid reader and love to look at characters and storylines to explore the motivations and changes in the characters throughout the story .
Homework: To have read before the first class: Student will read through the first five chapters of Anne's House of Dreams. Between week 1 and week 2 will read 6-10 For Week Three will read 11-15. Week Four: Chapters 16-20 Week Five: Chapters 21-25 Week Six: Chapters 26-30 Week Seven: Chapters 31-35 Week Eight: Chapters 36-40. Week Nine: Chapters 1-5 in Anne of Ingleside Week Ten: Chapters 6-11 Week Eleven: Chapters 12-16 Week Twelve: Chapters 17-21 Week Thirteen: Chapters 22-27. Week Fourteen: Chapters 28-33 Week Fifteen: Chapters 34-40. Week Sixteen:
A copy of Anne of the Island and Anne of Windy Poplars to be obtained by the students.
