Class Experience

Students will learn how to organize thoughts to help build reading comprehension.
I am offering this class to engage students in Reading and build passion for reading through a book series that is currently popular. This book series recently became a tv show, which will help students to want to read more.
Students will have to read 1-3 chapters for homework, fill out a graphic organizer for reading comprehension, and answer a discussion questions.
Students will need books 6-13 of the Series of Unfortunate Events
Students will be assessed with short quizzes or a writing assessment at the end of each book we read. They will also be assessed with discussion questions for homework each week.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
