Class Experience

-Describe characters in a story (e.g., their traits, motivations, or feelings) and explain how their actions contribute to the sequence of events.

I am offering "Book & Cook Club: St. Patrick's Day-Inspired Green Eggs & Ham!" so that students can gather together in a nurturing environment to engage with an interesting text and diverse people. My expertise in reading and questioning strategies makes me an excellent leader for this class. My love of cooking has been in development since I was a child; I have been studying the art of cooking on a daily basis since then. 
-For our Day 2 class: with adult, prep all measured green eggs and ham ingredients & materials before class session (page 2 in the attached class file); have adult present for green eggs and ham making and baking
 1 file available upon enrollment
Day 2: Green eggs and ham making supplies and ingredients will need to be purchased and prepped prior to the Day 2 class session. 
Feel free to divide or multiply the recipe to match the amount of green eggs and ham you plan to make. The recipe below yields 4 servings. Supplies and ingredients are listed in the attached class file, as well as below: Required: 8 slices ham (spiral cut or lunch meat) 8 eggs 2 cups fresh baby spinach Salt and pepper Nonstick skillet Plate Blender Spatula Recipe instructions to be shared during Day 2 class. Generally, we will warm the ham, blend the eggs & spinach together, then season our food.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
If students need technological assistance during class, please provide as necessary. 

Please note that adult guidance will be required for making green eggs and ham on Day 2. Please also be advised of potential hazards, including the use of a stove top and other tools needed while cooking. Please refer to the ingredients on the Supply List or attached class file for possible allergens such as nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy.
