In this fun 2x week, 40-minute, 4-week novel study with Ms. Pamela we will read The Phantom Tollbooth, conduct discussions, reading comprehension, create several projects and discuss topics such as proverbs, puns and idioms.

We will be diving into the book THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH by Norton Juster. We will keep a vocabulary journal and talk about the story elements of the book such as the characters, the setting, the plot, conflict, and resolution. We will be doing activities for these story elements in class as well. We will learn a little bit more about the author and answer reading comprehension questions and discuss figurative language.
